CoMO members benefit from being part of the world-wide family of organizations because all have differing challenges and differing levels of experience but all of whom are working toward the same goal – the elimination of meningitis and septcaemia. Being part of this family gives small organizations and patient groups access to expertise and resources to help them grow and become sustainable.
The sharing of learning, expertise, knowledge and resources enables a patient group to establish itself more quickly and enter new areas of activity, ultimately helping it to reach out to more people in the fight against meningitis.
CoMO facilitates this sharing by encouraging mentoring or “buddying”, organizing conferences and developing toolkits and factsheets for members and prospective members.
